Emmanuel Stoborough

Touching Heaven Changing Earth

 

 Emmanuel Stoborough is a separate congregation within Emmanuel worshipping in Stoborough Village Hall just outside Wareham on Sunday and meeting in local homes and also quite regularly in the Kings Arms Public House, Stoborough.

We aim to worship and witness to Jesus Christ through active involvement with our local community.

We work with all the local first schools and with Stoborough First School in particular. We run a weekly Parent Toddler Group and work with the Village Hall Committee in arranging special events such as the annual Christmas Carol Service on the Village Green.

We like to have fun and our latest social event was to join in with the Kings Arms Quiz Night in aid of the Dorset Air Ambulance. 

     

 We have a weekly prayer meeting and  homegroups.

Our vision is that every member of the congregation should be free to play their part in building God's Kingdom

 Once every two months we have a well supported men's breakfast with "Food for Thought"

 

 We have recently enjoyed an excellent Church Weekend with our Senior Pastor Alan and his wife Karen leading us to know the Father's love and how to serve Him with the character and tools of Jesus in the power of the Holy Spirit. Saturday afternoon was spent in Kimmeridge with a paddling pool and a cream tea.
