Working with the Village Hall Committee we also arrange special events such as the annual Christmas Carol Service held on the village green. We aim to worship and witness to Jesus Christ through active involvement with our local community.
At Emmanuel Stoborough we like to have fun and our latest social event was a Quiz Night held at the Kings Arms Stoborough, in aid of building the new church and community centre in Swanage.

We have all just enjoyed our summer garden party at our Pastor Stephen and his wife Lesley's new home in Stoborough. It was a lovely afternoon and we were blessed with wonderful weather, great company and a fabulous selection of sandwiches and home baking from Lesley.

July 14th-18th was the Connect2010 event at Holton Lee just outside Wareham, where we all enjoyed the opportunity to grow together through teaching and ministry in Word and Spirit. There were various activities, workshops, speakers, local leaders and worship groups, aswell as a team from the Middle East. Everyone found it a great experience and we look forward to next years Connect.
